| 약력 | Merrie Tomkins is a multi-award-winning community based ceramic artist. Her practice spans over three decades and presently specializing in hand built sculptural, functional and wood fired works. Merrie’s work is engaging, connecting with her intuition and exploring deep within to express the fusion of the inner child and spirituality. Her work involves many community-based projects including building paper kilns for the Australian Woodfiring conference, Floating lands and projects at the Woodford Folk Festival, Australia’s largest music and art festival. She has worked and exhibited nationally and internationally in countries including Belgium, China, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Tunisia, Thailand, Taiwan and USA.
