She coordinates the International Macsabal 3. Wood Firing Symposiums in Korea, China, and Ankara. Between 1999 and 2003, she worked in Gioella 4. Suardi’s studio in Italy. A recipient of 15 awards, including the 2009 “Manises City” award in Spain, she 5. has contributed to numerous international exhibitions, symposiums, and workshops. She is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics, an organization affiliated- UNESCO. In 2016, she curated 6. national ceramic collections for the Fuping FLICAM Museum in China. She currently serves as Chair of the Ceramics and Glass Department at Hacettepe University.
